C-30 Additive Change Order 1 for Orange Park High School Building 1 Downspout Renovation

Issue/Rationale

Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications.  Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board.  Change Orders affect the scope of the project and are required to be School Board approved.  This change order is required by code to wrap the fittings at the base of the roof drains.  This was not included in the original design.  Contractor:  Hager Construction Company; Architect:  McCullar & Boatright Architects, P.A. 

 



Recommended Action

Approve the change order.



Financial Impact

If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $840.00.  The substantial completion date is August 14, 2009.  Architect fees will increase by $50.40 as a result of this Change Order.
